Optimize Photo File Size
For Web Use
  1. Open original (920KB) file in Elements. Notice its size.
  2. Make Resolution = 72 and Width = 300.
  3. Save For Web.
  4. Notice the file sizes:
    Original = 920 KB
    Resize = 198 KB
    "Save for Web" = 18.15 KB
    Final = 1/50th the size (and time to downlaod) of original file.
